Gopal Srinath Kidambi hails from a family with a distinguished legacy in law and public service, spanning four generations. His great-grandfather, the Late Varadachari Kidambi, was a freedom fighter and advocate who took part in India’s independence movement, while his grandfather, the Late Gopalan Kidambi served in the Endowments Department of the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. Many family members across generations have gone on to become advocates and Senior Advocates, carrying this legacy forward.

Gopal’s interest in law developed early, taking shape during his Bachelor of Commerce studies in Business Law and while training as a Chartered Accountant between 2004 and 2007, and he also gained hands-on audit experience under his father, Srivas Kidambi, a practising Chartered Accountant. 

He enrolled as an advocate in 2015 and began his career with a Hyderabad-based law firm representing company managements in labour law matters, where he secured favourable outcomes for clients through diligent research, case preparation, and drafting of written arguments before adjudicating authorities.

Since 2015, Gopal has built a diverse practice advising clients across a wide range of substantive laws, including contract, property, family, and corporate law; labour and service matters; arbitration, intellectual property, consumer protection, real estate, municipal, and land-related legislation specific to Telangana; and criminal law, among others. This breadth of practice reflects both the range of his legal training and his commitment to serving clients across varied areas of need.

Throughout his professional journey, Gopal has remained committed to the principle that access to justice should not depend on the ability to pay, and has consistently provided pro bono legal consultation services to ensure that indigent individuals are not deprived of their legal rights and remedies.
